making a normal shorts patter high waisted

How do I Do this?

      you get a pattern of a basic top with same size and put the waist of the top on the top of the waist of the short meaning waist line top then waist line short then mark the acsses u need to make the waist higher and adjust the darts i hope i made it understandable
