I want to get an imperial officer uniform pattern(like Return Of The Jedi's Admiral Piett) so I could get the costume made up.
This is to help me join a charitable organisation.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
I don't have the pattern and am not able to make it for you, but maybe this will help... The uniforms are based on real old uniforms (they're similar to German ones from WWI). There are scanned old books on drafting garments on Costumer's Manifesto ("Cutter"s Practical Guide to..."). There are some drafts that might be useful for you: The jacket: http://www.costumes.org/history/victorian/CPG/13/gallery/pages/13_18.htm Or maybe this whole outfit, with some alterations on the jacket: http://www.costumes.org/history/victorian/cutterspracticalguide10_11/gallery/pages/04_21.htm The trousers: http://www.costumes.org/history/victorian/CPG/3/gallery/pages/03_087.htm http://www.costumes.org/history/victorian/CPG/3/gallery/pages/03_091.htm http://www.costumes.org/history/victorian/CPG/3/gallery/pages/03_093.htm http://www.costumes.org/history/victorian/CPG/3/gallery/pages/03_095.htm It's possible that you'll have to go through more of the books to understand the diagrams, though. I haven't gone through it yet myself, I just selected the styles that seemed proper.
