Have you registered with Printsew.com? While the free patterns are really free, registration is required. I've used their services for a while now; there was no increase in spam. The downloads go well, and once I figured out the process for pattern assembly, I didn’t have trouble with the actual patterns. One thing which saves some money and time; I usually buy multi-size patterns, assemble them then using exam table paper, draw off the sizes I need. I use very large brown envelopes to store the print-outs (labeled) by company and garment type. The copies don’t generally survive my less-than-tender mercies.
The problem with PrintSew is that while anyone can access the site, only those with PCs and those who use microsoft browsers can print out the patterns. I believe that is what the others were trying to say. I have a Mac as well and I cant print any of the patterns out. although I can see what they have. its so disappointing!!!! I have emailed the company to complain about it. perhaps if others did as well they will change their site to make it accessable to Mac user also. Its really a shame that companies still have their nose so far up Microsoft’s ass that they cant see any other possibilities. I mean, imagine how much business they are shutting out by limiting the site to only PCs and MS browsers? ugh, I hate it!!! I love my mac and I shouldnt have to feel like I should give it up just to be able to access some sites!

Ummm.. I have a mac and the site works fine for me...
don't hate macs, hate the sites that don't bother to make everything universally compliant!!
