I am a Swedish university student studying industrial design engineering that is very interested in sewing and textile products in general. At the moment I am to undertake my examination project where I am to research users and markets in order to make a product concept. Very exiting! Of course I like to go in the direction of textile products.
In order to get some ideas for a good project to work with I am asking you as a creative community if you have thought of anything in your life where a textile product could be beneficial or adapted?
Some areas where textiles are used today are in work clothes, sport and outdoor equipment, travel devices, furniture and interior design, industrial production as well as clothes for people with special needs such as pregnant women or wheelchair users.
