Tell me what you think. Who’s your favorite? What designs you liked best and why? Are any of these something you would wear, recreate or throw away?
I can’t wait to hear your ideas and opinions!

I’m so jealous, I love this show but we get to see the current season on tv here in Australia so late after you guys :( I have to quickly scroll past any info on the blogs I follow so it doesn’t spoil it for me :)

I’m sorry.
Don’t you have an Australian version of Project Runway?
Jul 30, 2010, 01.45 PMby katexxxxxx
None in the UK either… At least, not on any channel I have access to.

I thought I had watched the Australia version last year and so I searched it and found past episodes you can watch online here http://tv.blinkx.com/show/project-runway-australia/MUCDjKwYr7xjCL9K
I believe it is on Arena channel.

Eats up too much bandwidth. Hubby and I both need all we can get for working.
Jul 30, 2010, 03.25 PMby sew4my3
I understand, I just didn’t want you to miss out on the fun!
Well, your sewing machine doesn’t use up bandwidth so make your own Project Runway and we will all oooo and awww over your creations.

I’m in a TV blackspot. I can’t even get Channel 5 here in the UK without paying for Sky as Freeview doesn’t reach us.

There was an Australian version, I’ve only seen one series, and i haven’t seen the next one advertised. Luckily I have Foxtel and it gets Arena, the US last season just finished last month so hopefully we get the new season soon (fingers crossed) I LOVE watching it too :) I did cheat and read one of my blogs which had the profile of each designer, I think it is a good and interesting line up but I’ll keep my eyes and ears closed now so I don’t accidentally find out who wins :) I like a good surprise.

All project runway and catwalk series can be viewed on www.surfthechannel.com just search for ‘project runway’or ‘project catwalk’(or any other tv series…), and you will be linked to websites who have these episodes (megavideo is best). Just watched the brand new episode this morning, jam!

Susanne20_11 is correct. I didn’t even think about that but I will often go back and watch episodes because I missed something or just wanted to see a certain fashion idea again.
Thanks for the reminder Susanne20_11!

I think I didn’t understand the challenge this week with the hats. I usually have a pretty good eye for what the judges are going to like and what they will hate, but out of the 6 they kept on the runway, I was only right about 2 of the designers!

MyLifetime.com has all of the Project Runway episodes online, that’s how I’ve been watching them because I don’t have cable television. You just go here and click on the link below “Full Episode.” They usually put them up by the next day!
I’m really rooting for April, because she went to my college! I think Mondo is very talented though, so I’m rooting for him too.
Whenever I’m done watching an episode, I immediately go to the Project Rungay Blog to read what they have to say about all the designers and garments. They are so entertaining! They also have posts about fashion and some other tv shows on there too.

I haven’t read the blogs yet… that’s all I need, another website to spend hours reading instead of doing my homework!

Homework first, play later, but I won’t say anything if you steal away a little time to enjoy some creative thinking.

I haven’t really been following it as much this season. Just put it on now though, they’re doing last week’s episode

Hey all!
I am kind of thrilled that Michael made it to the finals. (He looks a little bit like my daughters fiance. LOL)
Anyway, I just love the mixture of patterns and textures that Mondo uses and would love to have that creative eye like he does.
Andy has been under the radar, sort of speak, for most of the season but has managed to play well with the rest.
Then there’s Gretchen, I have to say I don’t care much for her but that’s not what the show is about. She can design most of the time and I believe that her latest creations, being on the downside, have been a result of fatigue.
Overall it should be interesting to see what they come up with for fashion week! What’s your opinion?
Oct 19, 2010, 12.37 AMby jeremyn
Was watching the previous episodes On Demand, god, Gretchen is annoying. My guess is that Mondo will win.

I think you may be right that Mondo will win. However, I cheated and took a look at the runway show here: The Fashion Cult.com. Now those of you who want to be surprised “DON’T LOOK”. Haha
After seeing these designs, in my opinion, it could be anyones game.
Let’s watch Thursday and see what happens.

I guess surprised is a good word. Shocked might be another. LOL

Given the economic times we are in at the present, Gretchen’s line was certainly more wearable and would appeal to a larger section of the population. Andy and Mondo certainly had excellent lines as well but their customer is a very narrow segment of the market. If Gretchen handles her business right she could easily have a great ready to wear business. That is nothing to look down on.
