We all have our little piece of heaven on earth. We all are in need of some space for ourselves, no matter where we work, argue love and live on this earth, no one can really say they are happy as they are if they don’t have just a square metre for themselves, no matter what we do there, reading, in a corner with shelf’s of your favourite books, collecting with passion.

But when it comes; an oh so sane sewing buff, there have to be some exceptions. We need just a nudging more than a corner, we fill it with passion in form of patterns, fabrics, buttons, threads and all other little gadgets we as passionate oh sew mad artist needs.

Please share with all the world your little corner of mad fashion sense.

Hello flowergirl2… some of us have been posting photos of our sewing rooms as “Projects” (see Sewing Room and Sewing Room, for example), and there are some ongoing discussions in other parts of the forum, here and here. For some reason, we are all starting to think about and exchange regarding our sewing spaces – maybe it has to do with the time of year….

Mind you, we can have an endless amount of things to say about our sewing spaces :) I’ve been thinking that I need a new cabinet so I can store ongoing projects without each one interfering with the others!

Wow, you really are well organized, flowergirl22!

One of my problems with putting things in boxes, is that once they go in, they often never come out again. So I’m afraid to put things away into boxes, and instead leave them out!

well get a nice big shelf and some boxes like i have the storage ones with draws on, organise them by type,, wool, ribbon, threads and so on,, if I have to many of one colour i put them into shades . blues, reds, greens and so on,

try it, but take your time pciking the right storage for your need,, i find that just boxes with lids on , who you stack arent good enough,,
