I am pregnant and really enjoy sewing. I have a few patterns made by major companies, but am looking for more. I was disappointed to see that there is nothing under the maternity section here at BurdaStyle. If you’re looking for something new to add, I’d love to see some creative patterns to wear while pregnant. I’ve seen a few non-maternity patterns that could work for maternity (since they are loose and flowing) that you could also add to the maternity section.
Thanks! I really like this site and seeing what people come up with.

Why don’t you try lining it? You could use a contrasting color to make the burn out pop.

I don’t know how far along you were when you wrote this- your little one might be here by now. There is a good wrap around style maternity top on here but I think it is in the projects section with a link to the blog of the lady who made it where you can download the pattern. I have spent my pregnancy making patterns out of my old maternity clothes and reproducing the things that I love and I would post them but I really don’t know how to go about it. I will make an effort to get some of these up on the website once I have my assignments in and everything sorted out for my baby- due in about a month but I’m afraid it will come too late for you. I hope you found some satisfactory patterns.

The most recent Burda Style magazine ( 6/2010 ) has 7 maternity patterns in it. 6 tops and 1 pair of pants. Usually you can pick it up at your local Barnes & Noble or subscribe at : http://www.glpnews.com/EN/Crafts/Burda1.html
