I’m currently studying Apparel Production and Manufacture at university, and need to find out what INDUSTRIAL machines would be used for:

- a chiffon dress - cotton jersey t-shirt - denim skirt

As well as this, I need to know what needles, threads, stitches and seams are most commonly used on these products.

Google seems to be of little use, and I wondered if anyone had any expertise in this area?
Any information you have or examples of industrial production would be great!

Thanks :)

Combination of serger/overlocker and straight stitch machines… It’s more how they are set up that matters, rather than make or model, though you’d probably avoid things for boot stitching, sail-making, or upholstery…
