Burda Style For people who sew
I’m trying to find patterns so I can make this costume for myself:
Basically, I need a pair of vintage high waist shorts (the skirt is just a pair of shorts with strips of fabric attached to it); a form fitting, midriff barring, v neck top; and poofy arm sleeves to attach to the top.
I can’t seem to find these patterns at all. I sat down in my local fabric store for an hour or so, just browsing through the catalogs. No luck. I’ve seen people on here that have made high waist shorts, etc but I can’t seem to find the patterns on here. Help?

They look really snug, which I think will fit well with the costume. I still need to find a midriff barring, v-neck top though… and some poofy sleeves. Any suggestions? :/
