Hello everyone, in hoping you can help me. IM making a box pleated skirt with a flocked organza overlay in a reindeer pattern for Xmas. However, no matter what i do, the seams just pull apart with a gentle tug. Its a very fine synthetic fabric and seems to have quite an open weave. So far ive tried every stitch length on my machine, zig zags and various tensions always with the same results, my needle is also brand new and the smallest size i had, think it was a 9?

Anyone have any ideas how i can actually sew this together?
Thanks for any help
xx

Fell the seams, preferably without trimming them down first. Yes, you get a slightly clumsier seamline, but it will hold together.
