I was wondering if anybody here practices eco-friendly sewing and has used green fabrics. What are your experiences with them? Pros/cons? In previous months I have been purchasing fabrics second-hand and re-purposing items in support of sustainable fashion, but I am curious about eco-fabric. I have heard mix reviews and that it can be quite costly.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Choco, Well, I try to stick to eco-friendly fabrics by using natural/organic materials cotton, jute, silk, ramie, or wool when possible. If you know where to look, cotton can be bought at a reasonable price and I find it quite reasonable to work with. Unfortunately I cannot recommend a specific website or shop as such since I always shop around. Liking the idea of second-hand and re-purposing items though! Hope this helps!
