Hi,
I just scored a fierce mid-century sectional but the fabric is literally disintegrating. (Lord only knows what kind of scary space age fiberglas it’s made from.) I need to re-cover the entire thing, as opposed to making a zip-off slipcover. Anyone have any resources for instructions, guidance or advice?

Readers Digest Complete Book of Sewing has a useful section in it for this sort of thing. Shows you how to measure up as well as the techniques needed for basic upholstery.
