I don’t know if this is the right place to ask about it, but i am really frustrated to learn how to draw/sketch my designs. Can anyone help me at least the basics?

    there should be a tutoral here on burda. it is called a croquis i think. i probably have the spelling wrong. but basicly it is an outline of a 2 demensional dress form front and back. when i draw designs i use it to get my proportions correct because if i free hand i tend to go large and the croquis keeps it a managable size. if it isn’t here anymore i can scan a copy of one that i printed off and post it for you.

    On the Threads magazine web site there is a set of croquis which are excellent for detailed design drawings. Other than that, take a look on Amazon for books on fashion drawing.
