I have a Singer portable electric Sewing Machine (221-1) that I’m looking to sell. It’s in great condition and comes with a case and an instruction manual. Does anyone know what a decent asking price is? I’ve seen these machines listed anywhere from $200 – $700, but I’m not sure how much mine will go for.
And does anyone have an idea of where I could sell it?

None whatsoever, without seeing it. Try contacting one of the Singer Featherweight special interest groups, and see if they can point you to someone qualified to assess the machine for wear and value. The more expensive ones will be in the best condition, with all attachments that were sold with it, and an undamaged box. Most people will not give a valuation without seeing the machine, but from photographs should be able to tell you whether or not it is worth getting a proper valuation assessment.
