Hi,
I am currently making some bridesmaids dresses which will have a silk chiffon overlay for the skirt and I was wondering if I could use polyester charmeuse as the lining or will this cause too much static between the fabrics? I can’t afford to use silk as the lining as I am making 7 dresses. I want something that has a sheen but isn’t going to be too expensive or compromise the look of the chiffon. I also thought of using a rayon lining.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks!
Sarah

Silk would be best, but poly will be OK.
