Hello everyone!
I hope I’m adding my post to the right place.. :)
These days I desided to make the pretty skirt I found on a previous Burda magazine.
The piece I chose is from Burda 12/2011 the skirt No. 105.
I traced the pattern in size 40 but my problem is that I’m 1,59cm tall so I need to shorten it 9cm.
The pattern does not include the parallel lines I know that are for this purpose and it is not a straight edge skirt and also has pleats.
I would apreciate if someone could help me on how I can shorten it.

Fold the excess out of the pattern in two stages: one between hip and waist and one between hip and hem. To find out how much to fold out between hip and waist, compare your waist to hip measurement with that on the standard Burda size chart or on the pattern between the waistline and where the hipline is marked. Take the difference out of the hip to waist section and the rest out between hip and hem. Remember to do every pattern piece. True up the seam and cutting lines.
