Burda Style For people who sew
Can someone plz help me… I have one idea for prom dress but I don’t know is that even possible and how to do it. I really wanted to make this dress for my prom, but one sewer told me that is hard to make. http://vivifypicture.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Animal-Print-Prom-Dress-from-Jovani1.jpg
Now, I have another idea and I need help and advice, because I don’t know is that possible. I want same topper but down I want shorts with ruffles.

Unless you are an experienced sewer I think I would avoid this dress. The bodice is made with boning and as a result is quite fitted. It is the boning that holds the dress up and if it isn’t correct the result could be disasterous! You might be wiser to choose a pattern that has straps, possibly a halter style. The halter syle can also give you the WOW factor that you are looking for.
