I have a 15 year old cheap sewing machine (I don’t even know what brand, singer or brother). I don’t sew as much as I want to, so I don’t feel the need to upgrade. But, I kow that the tension is starting to get wonky and I have never done any cleaning or maintenance.
Can you set me in the right direction for tips or articles about how to do some sort of maintenance on my own?
For what it is worth, I want to do it myself and the tension is not terrible yet, just very tight (I can’t get it loose enough to do basting, etc., but regular sewing is fine).
