so im sewing a skirt from a pattern i found online
Two pattern pieces only need to be cut once but i can not for the life of me remember if i place the pattern piece on the wrong side or right side of the fabric. It’s been a while since i did some sewing and it’s like im starting over i have forgotten so much

Where the pattern is cut on folded fabric I was always taught to fold fabric right sides together then place pattern pieces on the outside (ie. the wrong side). When cut on a single layer I generally place the pattern on the right side. I’m sure there are other ways to do it though : ), this is just how I was taught.
