So, I just downloaded my first NOT FREE pattern, and I am pretty bummed at the pitiful instructions. No images at all, no guidance as to what the heck to do along the way. Great dress, I’d love to make it, but have several questions:
1. How do I figure out which line applies to which size on the printed pattern?
2. Step 9 could use some image to help orient the user. It’s complicated, and while I’m confident of my sewing skills, I am a very visual learner. These instructions aren’t adequate for me.
3. Has anyone made this dress and produced a tutorial or video?
Any help or advice would be great. I had hoped to make it for a wedding this weekend, but looks like I’m going to buying off the rack instead.
Thanks!

Also, looks like the instructions jump from Step 1 to Step 3. Any idea what the second step is??? I find it incredible that you are allowed to charge for patterns so lacking in instructions.

I can email you a copy of the instructions from the magazine if you like, but it is a bit bad if you’ve paid and they’re not complete. Let me know if you want me to scan them for you or if you’ve found the missing bits already

I’m also intending to attempt this dress but there’s no fabric amounts stated, no sizing annotations on the pattern and I’m finding the sizing chart difficult to understand. I assume the first columns N,L,K give you your US or EU size according to your individual measurements on the other three columns. Does that then translate to the paper pattern? And where do I find the fabric amounts?
