I have he boning that naturally curls up in a roll. I forget should I have the bones curl up against the bodice or should I have it curl away from the bodice like the letter “C”. Please let me know quickly. I can elaborate if my question isn’t clear enough.

I was making a fitted strapless dress and I don’t know what to call the boning it’s just plastic and naturally curls up into a circle. it’s cut in lengths from the fabric store.

Is it Rigeline (Hoc! Ptui! ;) ), baleen replacement therapy, nylon, trifold? And how much and where does the boning go in the dress?
We use several different types of boning, and depending how much, where it goes in the gown, and what we want it to do, we treat it in different ways.
Do you have a photo of the dress/pattern to show? And a picture of the boning would also help.
