Will it be difficult to put the puzzled pattern pieces together once I learn to calculate my size? This is my greatest worry as I have not sewn in years. I decided to start sewing again as a hobby. My first project will be a dress that I saw on Burda.

no this is very very easy. They label each 8×11 piece of paper so that you put them together effortlessly. I folded 1 edge and matched it to cutting line of other edge then taped. It really will be self explanatory.

Great work Jackie on getting back on the sewing machine. All your knowledge will come back to you in no time and will fell like you never had a break! Tina is right, the printed patterns are super easy. A good tip is to let the whole thing print out on the printer. That way they are all in order to be laid out too. I trace off my size so I can keep the pattern as a base pattern. Dont forget to add seam allowance and hem allowance. Happy Sewing :)
