I bought the burda plus s/s13 specifically for a blue 50’s style dress but disaster! it’s a petite pattern.
Am I doing the right thing here? I traced the bodice parts of a 22 for around the chest but blended it upto a 26 for the length. it seems to fit ok so far but where do I go with the sleeves? As it is now a 22 sleeve is too small and a 26 is too big. I tried mixing up a 22/26 but that didn’t work either. Do I need to raise the armhole a bit, if so would it be the 4cm length difference between the 22 and 26?
I stalked WH Smiths every day for 10 days for this pattern and am determined to make it even if it is making my poor brain spin!!
