I have been asked to make a dress for a pregnant friend, and I want to pattern cut it. I cannot find much online regards the alterations that would be needed from a basic block, aside from making it one size larger to accommodate for some “growth”… Any pointers would be gratefully recieved.

Thanks kate. Are there any books out there that have a maternity wear section in them? The ones I have don’t, I have Winifred Aldrich, Natalie Bray, Helen Joseph Armstrong and Ann Hagar
