I need to do some patches on my daughters jeans to cover up the slashes that were on them when bought..school isnt allowing them

    It used to be that you could purchase denim patches that ironed on the wrong side ( then you could stitch under the raw edges neatly on the right side ) Oddments of denim and wonderweb would achieve the same result.

    You still can buy patches of denim in different washes. In the UK, Hemline makes them. It might be Dritz or something in America.
