Hi,
I have a fantastic shop bought dress made from a nice stretchy fabric and I would like to buy some of this fabric to make another dress but I can’t find it anywhere :(
It is a Nylon/ poly/ elastine blend, does it have a special name? I was leaning towards bengaline or maybe bi-stretch suiting.
Can anyone tell me what these two fabrics feel like are they nice and soft or do they feel cheap and synthetic? and would they be suitable for pencil skirts and dresses?
Thankyou in advance :)

Just look for blends that also have some percentage of lycra or spandex – that’s what gives it the “stretch”.

Email fabric.com and see if they have something similar to what you are looking for. They are a great company to deal with and the fabric comes right to your house!
