I purchased the men’s trouser pattern, #135, to make my husband some shorts based on the pattern. However, I didn’t know the pattern didn’t include a waistband and a few other pieces, plus detailed instructions on how to sew these. I am soooo lost. I’ve sewn basic stuff before, but from commercial patterns that had illustrated instruction sheets. I have no clue how to assemble these let alone draft a waistband for them. I looked to see if there was an existing discussion about them, but apparently not.
Has anyone made these? Is there a resource where I can learn how to draft the extra pieces and assemble these? I’d hate to have paid for this pattern for nothing.
