Hi! I’m living in London for a month and I would like to visit some fabric stores, not so much expensive please, but I canĀ“t find any except the african fabrics in Whitechapel.
Anyone knows any nice place?
Thank you!

Head over to Goldhawk Rd. There are lots of fabric stores there.

Hi all who know good fabric stores in London (and other cities). Please send info on them to David at Burdastyle, so he can put them all on the resource map! Then us outsiders won’t have to search the forum/ask every time :-) See how/what/where to send the info here: http://www.burdastyle.com/blog/the-burdastyle-resource-map-revisited

It’s right here: http://www.burdastyle.com/blog/the-burdastyle-resource-map-revisited
I think they should make it easier to find! A LOT easier to find!
And now I’ve found out it’s actually on the front page of Burdastyle! I’ve never noticed… hm!

I just sent some of my favourite shops in London (nothing to do?) to David, they should be on soon I guess. But I hope anyone’s going to look at them at all, you’re right, it’s impossible to find the map as it is now. (Besides there are obviously loads and loads of questions for shops in London here and people could probably find them just by searching the discussions).

Head over to Rolls n Rems in Lewisham and Edmonton (I think) ALSO Walthamstow market’s many Asian shops, and fabulous trimming stalls and a new trimmings shop.
