Hey all,
Can anyone translate a line of the instructions for the Liz blouse? It says:
“Stitch the dividing stitches narrowly, thus enclosing the allowances when stitching.”
The instructions are here: http://assets.burdastyle.com/pdf_files/assets/000/391/540/liz_original.pdf?1348771881
Thanks guys!

Something has got very lost in translation. I think, looking at the finished garment, that it’s trying to tell you to do the princess seams as a felled seam.

From what I can see from the diagram, it looks like its telling you to pinstitch / topstitch from the outside making sure you are catching the seam as you sew. Use a stitch length of 3.5 – 4 and sew from the right side about 2mm from seam ridge on CB side. Make sure you have pressed seams to CB from both wrong and right side for a professional finish.
