Can anyone help me, i’ve had nothing but trouble from this machine, most i’ve managed to sort but this I just cannot get my head round. its making a horrible clacking noise from the bobbin area. its not the way its threaded, the bobbin case or anything like that, it makes the noise when theres no bobbin or bobbin shuttle in there, Also the needle is hitting the bit of metal that stays in the bobbin shuttle, i’ve adjusted the timing but really at a loose end. i’ve had the whole thing apart, cleaned everything out, oiled it and checked everything else with no luck! help!

    Sounds like a timing issue, which is best left to a repair person to fix. It’s a cheap light weight, light use machine (I’ve seen it on the web for as little as £48), so it may not be economical to repair.
