Hi everyone,
I have a Janome Overlocker Mylock 604D and I have been comfortable sewing just about all my seams with 4 threads.
I want to have a go as sewing a rolled hem with it and in particular sewing with 3 or 2 threads without the cutter doing those hems you see on just about everything you buy.
I have had a look on youtube without much luck,
Can anyone suggest a dvd or clip on the web or instructions which might help me?
I would say that i am an intermediate sewer I have made dance costumes and a couple of bridesmaid gown and wedding dresses.
I would really like to learn how to utilise my overlocker more than just seams.
thanks

Why don’t you try lining it? You could use a contrasting color to make the burn out pop.

Have you still got the manual that came with the machine (or is it available online)? They tend to have good guidance and instructions in them. I followed mine without any problems and got good results.

Manuals are great for the base line settings for all the stitches, but for real ‘what to do and how to do it’ stuff, I like this book: The Complete Serer Handbook by Chris James. It’s available thrpugh Amazon etc.
