Hi..this is my first post here so I hope it is in the right place. I make figure skating dresses and up until this point have always put crystals on the dress by eye. The one I am currently working on I have a specific pattern I would like to either draw on the spandex or transfer on…but I want it to be temporary…just needs to last long enough for me to put the crystals on. I can’t draw on it in pencil and have obivious concerns about markers..though haven’t tried those self fading ones. Any thoughts or tips would be appreciated

    Experiment with the self fading markers. Be sure to test wth heat, as sometimes this affects the fade on some fabrics.

    If you are using hotfix crystals rather than glue-ons, you can gets see-through heat resistant foil sheets that you can make the motifs up on, then use the iron to press them in place. Once tacked down like this you can go round with the hotfix wand and make sure they are really well secured.

    I can’t remember all the different brands, but most of the online crystal sellers have it.
