I purchased a pattern and downloaded the instructions, but I do not see anywhere how much fabric to purchase. Also, the instructions show an “a” with an umlaut over it throughout the instructions, making them all the harder to understand. (It seems that the instructions were poorly translated from a language other than English.)

Can someone help me get started?

    55 inch fabric states 3.5 yards for all sizes. Remember the pattern does not include seam or hem allowances-
