Burda Style For people who sew
Hi,
I have started sewing the stunning galaxy dress by vogue (pattern no. v8280) and I am really stuck on the sleeves!
I had no problem making them but I can’t figure out for the life of me how to sew them on to the bodice. I have read and reread the pattern instructions, put it away for a few days as I would have thrown it out of the window otherwise :(
Maybe I can’t see the wood for the trees but the instructions make no sense to me at all :(
I am making view B with the sleeves and the sweetheart neckline.
I would be ever so grateful if anyone could help me out I am desperate to see this dress finished.

Have you come across this site before : http://sewing.patternreview.com ? It has 31 reviews from people who have made this dress if you go to link http://sewing.patternreview.com/Patterns/13113 (if that doesn’t work just type in the pattern number in the search box). If the review is older than 6months you have to sign up (it’s free) to be able to read it but more recent ones are available. There may be something on there that will help

I just bought this pattern today. I was really excited until i saw the instructions. Im going to take the advice in the reviews and highlight the relevant info. Goood luck!
