Burda Style For people who sew
I’m doing a project in which I gather the bottom edge of a under shirt and I was just wondering how I would go about hemming the gathered edge of it?

What kind of fabric are you using? Do you have a picture of the pattern?
My first thought is a rolled hem (see http://thepetitesewist.blogspot.com/2012/01/how-to-sew-rolled-hem.html), but seeing the pattern might bring other ideas to mind..

or would it work if you hemmed it first and then gathered it by inserting elastic into the hem?
