I have been eyeing this Burda Style pattern

But I’m having issues finding fabric for it. They recommend using fulled loden, which I have found almost impossible to find, let alone find it in the cool mustard color they used. I did finally find some on a UK site but they wanted an obscene price to ship to the US. I was thinking of using boiled wool instead, but I don’t have very much experience working with wool so I need some advice. Also, the coat is unlined so I’m a bit concerned about ending up with scratchy itchy fabric.
Oh Burda Style, why do you show me these fabrics without any information of where to buy them?
