I am hoping to make the sheath dress from the April 2013 issue of Burda. The pattern does not appear to be on here, but it is a strapped corset style bodice, with a fitted, pencil style skirt.
I want to make it for a friend’s wedding in the summer, and am looking for a floral fabric, preferably a white/cream with a red and green floral print – something similar to this picture http://img.rasset.ie/0004b964-180.jpg
The pattern recommends a piqué fabric, but I am open to suggestions, once it has a little stretch.
I have trawled through ebay but to no avail, so am wondering if any of you have seen a similar fabric on your travels, and could point me in the right direction.
I am based in Ireland, so I need a supplier who posts internationally.
All advice greatly appreciated
Thank you :)
