I fit my muslin and the arm holes fit fine. Now I have cut out my top and they’re too tight. Could this be because of my seam allowances and when I finish my arm holes they’ll fit fine? I’m not sure if I should make them bigger because I’m afraid they’ll be too big after I finish them but I don’t want to finish them and have them too small! Any advice would be great.

Don’t forget that the armholes will be the seam allowance bigger all round – so don’t alter at this stage. When the facing/ sleeve is fitted be sure to trim the seam and notch the curve to provide " ease ".
