I’ve never sewed before, but my aunt is going to help me make my first project for my 8th grade graduation “Formal” dance. I’ve been looking online, but I can’t find a dress pattern that I really like. If you could help me look for a pattern for a dress like the one I’ve attached, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
This is one of my favorites, but I’d like to add sleeves.

To me that looks like a princess line bustier dress with a dirndl skirt. You could use this pattern

and add several layers of fabric for a dirndl skirt.

About the sleeves: do you mean separate sleeves or ones attached to the dress? If you want them attached you will need a different pattern. This one will give you the option of using a sheer top section like they did in “The Great Gatsby” film. Or you might like this one which already has the waist seam in it.
