I’m new to sewing…I’m stuck at attaching lining to fur..I have attached the side seams of the lining and the fur but I’m stuck at figuring out how to attach lining to actual fur seams….where should I start(shoulders/sides) I have added 5/8’ seam allowances to lining and fur and 1 5/8" hem allowance to fur…

Hi, do you mean that you just want to secure the lining and fur in a few places to stop it moving around? If so, then the top of the armhole on the shoulder is a usual place. Just stitch both seam allowances together.

You can also secure it under the arm with a 4cm piece of fabric – sew one end to the seam allowance of the lining, and the other end to the seam allowance of the fur (it gives it a bit of room to move around).

And then the hem on every seam.
