What are the fellow sewers out there using to clean their machines? What’s the best dust can spray you have used? What are ones that you would never use again? I am reading up reviews on Amazon on a brand named Innovera. It is the cheapest on Amazon, which is why I am considering buying it. Some reviews say it leaves on coat of chemicals when cleaning their electronics, others say the can loses power right away. How about everyone else?

I never use canned sprays. You run the risk of blowing dust or threads into areas where they shouldn’t be. Better to use a vacuum and suck out the dust and lint.

I use an old make up brush as the dust seems to stick to it and make it easy to remove

Vacuum cleaner and a size 10 hog bristle paintbrush! It’s stiff enough to clear out the lint from okkard corners and soft enough not to damage bits inside the machine. It’s also washable when you get is oily.
