I find that I do not understand very well tutorials, but if I can find sewalongs then it helps me to learn and understand better. I am right now trying the Angela Kane pinafore, but would love others especially if they have free pattern downloads due to my income pattern buying is difficult.
Thank you
Teresa
I just want to add that seeing and reading everyones projects and blogs is so very inspiring t a beginner like me.

    Hello teresa,

Making a list of the “sew-a-longs” is a great idea.

One that I know of right now is with <a href’=“http://www.coletterie.com/”>Colette Patterns

I will add more if I come across them and some of the other members probably know of more.

If you would like, you could start your own sew-a-long too.

Not sure how I would go about doing that, I am really bad at this.(sewing) My problem is I need to watch someone else go through the steps so how would I start one? Could I use patterns other than Burda and would I be able to pdf them for others to print. I know just about all patterns are copyrighted.

These are for kid’s clothes, but the sizing can be easily adjusted. the Jumper dress is gorgeous and can be based on any T-shirt :) http://simplesimonandco.blogspot.com/p/tutorials.html They have new sew alongs every week
