Hello!!

So i have an elna coverlock 745. And I can’t seem to get my cover stitch to work properly.
Essentially, the right hand stitch works fine, but the left hand stitch just doesnt catch….leaving me with half a cover stitch, and a very messy underside of fabric.

I have tried looking around the internet and its really hard to find anything really on coverstitch issues besides starting and finishing :(

any help/suggestions would be appreciated!!

    Hey,

I can’t help you with your problem, other than to say are you sure you threaded in the right order? I’m sure you’ve tried re-threading it but just though I’d check. I know on overlockers, where each thread is in relation to the loopers is critical to get it to work.

I’m looking at getting a coverstich machine. If you do get it working I’d love to know what you think of that particular machine.

    Good luck

    Lindsay
