I’m having trouble understanding the instructions for the collar on the dress. Has anyone made this yet?

It seems pretty straight forward to me. What are you having trouble with?

      The part that says -

Sew corners of finished collar in place, with a small thread bar, aprrox. 3cm below collar attachment seam and approx. 5mm from slit edges.

It’s the last thing you do. Wait until the rest is finished and see if it makes any sense ten. If not, leave it out!

It means to make a little thread bar that keeps the collar points in place on the front of the dress, to save their sticking up.

Strikes me as a silly idea: you’d have to clip them and resew them every time you wanted to iron the damned collar! Poppers would work better. Or just not bother unless they stuck up…

Of course the best thing to do would be to design it so it worked rather than needing a fix like this! ;)
