Hey all,

It’s not exactly a sewing question but I couldn’t find a more appropriate place to post this.

Kate recently mentioned this book “How to make Sewing patterns” by Don McCunn. I found it on amazon but like a lot of books I want it is not available to ship to Australia (who know why).

Anyway I was wondering if anyone has got around this problem before? There are so many great book out there but unfortunately Australia lacks sewing books.

Lindsay

See if you can get it through dymocks. Pretty they can get books form o/s for you. Otherwise if I cant get amazon ship to oz I usually check out ebay (not had to on books yet though).

Thanks. It’s a real pity. There are so many great books that are second hand, these are the ones they don’t ship. I’ll try ebay though.

Can you buy books from Barnes and Noble on-line and see if they would send them to you. There are other on-line book places like Bramcost, E-Bay, Esty are just few that might send books to your country. Look on-line and see what is out there. Happy Hunting.
