Hi guys! I am searching to order high quality trimmings preferably from Europe. If not, China and India will also do as long as they have quality products. Does anyone know such supplier? If you have any contacts please shear it! Thanks!

I’ve heard that these are good, but haven’t ordered from them myself as yet http://www.neotrims.com/ you have to click the link to their ebay shop for retail purchases, and macculloch&wallis are pretty good http://www.macculloch-wallis.co.uk/

Dunno about Neotrims, but I woyuldn’t touch M&W with a long sharp pointy stick… They have never managed to send the correct samples when asked, their stuff is over priced, and the last time I was in the shop they were appallingly rude.
We get excellent, fast, and very competitive pricing from various ebay shops, based all over the world. The Turkish place is a bit slow to post, but their stuff is lovely.

Crikey! Sounds like m&w have seriously hacked you off! :-0 must admit they do seem expensive but i’ve not had trouble with them before. Then again, i haven’t used them very much as i tend to buy trims from sewing shops so’s i can actually see them before parting with my cash.

Sadly, yes! They DO have high quality stuff, but I can get most of the same quality direct from the manufacturers for half the price, especially silks and trimmings.
As for the rudeness… It was uncalled for, and we just dumped the stuff we were looking at on the counter and left. We bought much nicer stuff for the wedding gown in Joel & Son, where the prices are similar, but the products a better quality and the staff are delightful.

Was planning to visit their store next time i was in London, maybe I’ll give it a miss and just stick to using their website occassionally!

Sewingfan1, Katexxxxxx, thank you for your help!!
I definitely will go for the Macculloch & Wallis. They have very nice stuff and on the pictures it looks like the quality is also high! Recently i started making Arabic bridal dresses and as they are all covered with trimmings, embroidery and appliques i am searching for products which are not going to fall apart util i am done :) as it happened few times now. Thanks again! :)
