I found one, 80.00 dollars on amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/Female-Jersey-Dress-Form-Necktop/dp/B0014OE08E/ref=sr_1_1/176-7145235-1989424?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1268291840&sr=1-1

I would say shop around. There aren’t going to be alot of them for under $100 unless u find one at an estate sale or thrift store or possibly ebay.. So you might want to save up a little bit depending on how soon you would one. There are also different variations to the sizes, such as 1/4 scale or 1/2 scale, which would be much considerably less.

1/4 scale and 1/2 scale still start at $80. Dress forms are made to industry standards and start at size 2 and go up. Is this for personal use or to develop patterns or a line of clothing? If it’s for personal using an adjustable form would be better, if the latter is true a pin-able form is better. America Imports has the cheapest form I’ve found new and it’s $188. The adjustable forms go on sale from time to time at Jo-Ann’s or Hancocks and you can get one for about $100.

well i want one for personal use, just so i can pin fabric up on the form, so making a dress would be easier for me, rather than me wearing the actual dress and pinning everything in front of a mirror. I’ve noticed the ones in Joanns and i have a 50% coupon making it 100.00 but thing is, i don’t know if its a good quality or not.

Personal experience shows me that the Adjustaform ones are excellent. I have five. The oldest is 28 years old now, and after a bit of repair is good for at least another 20 years! :) You could check the brand.
