Hi All-
I am new to this site and new to sewing. I purchased the Burda 8536 pattern for Kaftans and I am so lost with the neck line i.e. when I cut out the pattern do I need to cut fabric for 3,4 and then also cut out facing for 3,4? Help? When I look at the pattern it doesnt make sense because item 5 seems to indicate that I cut 3,4 from the actual fabric. Can someone please clarify for me? Warm Regards!

Looking at the design, what you probably need to do is cut the facing out of interfacing and the fashion fabric. You then fix the interfacing to the fashion fabric facings and then sew them all to the caftan neckline.
