Hi there I’m about to make 5 bridesmaid dresses for next year and we’ve decided to make the front of each top draped. I’m concerned that the draping should all look the same on each dress.. so do you think I could make the 5 top fronts now and then size them nearer to the time when each dress is completed? Does anyone have any advice ?

Unless all of the bridesmaids are exactly the same size they will all not be the same. It will be the same style but the fit will be different.

Begin with measurements for each girl. Then make muslins and fit each girl in a muslin. Once you are happy with how it looks and fits then move on to your fashion fabric.
