I have a piece of fabric leftover from making a coat and want to make a skirt — though there is not enough left for that. I envisage a panelled skirt ( bit more fancy than just gored ) I thought of making a basic A-line pattern and cutting into interesting shapes from side seam to hem and side seam to waist and cutting some bits on the cross , So that I can use two fabrics. Has anyone any further ideas or can guide me to finding a pattern somewhere ?
